These symptoms are characteristic of whooping cough, also known as pertussis. Most people think this is a disease that just affects children. WRONG! Nowadays it affects teens and adults mostly.

People also think they cannot get it because they have been immunizesd against it. WRONG! Immunization only lasts for a few years giving complete protection. After a few years you can get it again.

If you have been immunised you will get a milder form than if you had not been immunised.
